Laxman Jhula

Lakshman Jhula happens to be one of the famous hanging bridges across the holy river Ganga. The jhula is a link in between two important villages in Rishikesh. It connects the Tapovan village in Tehri Garhwal and Jonk village in Pauri Garhwal. The bridge is made up of iron and it is almost 450 feet long, and almost 70 feet above the river.

This bridge is named after the wife of Lord Rama. Janki Setu (bridge) has been constructed keeping in mind the safety of the travellers on foot as well as vehicles. It is 274 mt long and It is the first three-lane suspension bridge of Rishikesh, which is wide enough to have separate lanes for pedestrians and vehicles.
The view of Janki Setu at night will leave you captivated. The bridge not only eases out the traffic but makes a perfect sightseeing spot.

Ganga Aarti (Parmarth Niketan/Triveni Ghat)

Beatles Ashram

Beatles Ashram, also known as Chaurasi Kutia, is an ashram close to the north Indian city of Rishikesh in the state of Uttarakhand. Chaurasi Kutiya is open from 9 AM to 4 PM daily , with nominal entry fee. 84 Kutiya is popularly known as Beatles Ashram, the graffiti-filled walls are so beautiful. All the ruins have graffiti on them The whole walk around the Ashram needs at least one hour, ideally a couple of hours.
